LFMM 034: How to Make the Next 6 Months Your Best 6 Months Ever
In this episode of the Law Firm Marketing Mastery Podcast I take a moment to reflect back on the first six months of 2013 and then talk about how to plan out the next 6 months so you have the best 6 months you’ve ever had!
I think it’s important to look back and reflect on what you’ve done over a certain amount of time, to think about what you’ve accomplished, what you’ve learned, the mistakes you’ve made, and how you’ve grown.
But when I do that I also think about all of the opportunities I’ve missed out on.
Time lost to watching television.
Time lost to playing around on facebook.
Time lost spent chasing a rabbit down a hole on the internet and calling it “research.”
These are things we all do. And these are things we’ll continue to do. It’s human nature.
But there are ways to get around it. There are ways to get out in front of your procrastination. There are ways to build systems that will help you avoid many of these pitfalls.
And today we’re going to talk about one way to do that.
What we’re talking about today is a system for realizing your goals. It’s a system that many people use every day to not just reach their long term goals but to create the short term wins that are necessary to keep moving forward toward the ultimate goal.
In this session you’ll find out about:
- How to handle unruly clients (or potential clients);
- How my firm did this months by the numbers;
- The cumulative effect of hard work;
- My big hairy audacious goal for the next 6 months;
- My step by step method for achieving long term goals; and
- much much more!
Here’s just one hint for whats to come:
