I'm Writing this Starting a Law Firm Book if it's the Last Thing I Do

Every day I sit at my desk or I’m at the gym or I’m doing whatever I’m doing and I’ll think about the lack of progress that I’ve made on this Starting a Law Firm Book. And today I’ve decided that I’m going to stop thinking and I’m just going to start doing.
My Promise to You is to Have a Book Done by December 31, 2012
The only way we attorneys get anything done is to have a set deadline. And, honestly, the only way we get anything done is if that set deadline comes with some kind of consequences (usually it’s some kind of sanction or the judge yelling at you or having a pissed off client).
With that being said, I’m trying to come up with some kind of consequence. I’m looking for ideas. Got any?
To give you some idea, I’ve made deals with myself in the past where I’d burn a one hundred dollar bill if I didn’t do something in a specific amount of time. That works, but I’d rather do something that gives you some benefit if I don’t hold up my word.

My Thoughts for a “Motivational Primser”
The first thing I’m thinking of is opening up this valium generic cost site and giving everyone a link that wants one if I don’t get it done in time. Or, maybe easier for you and for me – a free link for each and every one of the subscribers to my newsletter. Right now that sounds pretty good, and is probably where I’m leaning.
